Fashion weeks are held to promote the fashion in people. Its tenure approximately is seven days. Its purpose is to gather buyers and sellers. Fashion designers and House designers display their latest collection in these shows in front of the media and the buyers. This also shows what is in and what is out in coming days.

Four most famous fashion weeks are celebrated in four capitals of the world, New York, Paris, London and Milan. Some others are in Los Angeles, Rome Shanghai, Bangalore, Manila, Lisbon, Dubai, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Cleveland, Madrid, Copenhagen, Tbilisi, Toronto and Seoul.

Fashion weeks held in two times in a year in most famous capitals of the world. These are held many months ago of season to allow the buyers and press a chance to view fashion designs for coming season. From January through April designers prepare their autumn and winter collections. From September through November they prepare their Spring and Summer collection.
