At the age of 25, she became the youngest member of the Punjab Assembly to be elected in 2018 general election.

She said that While being in the assembly, I make sure the projects that were setup by PMLN government for women empowerment, namely  Zewar-e-Taleem, etc., they must continue to serve girls, and women. She further said that she will try to expand and promote these projects for the greater public interest, especially for women population.

Fake Video Scandal

Pakistan Muslim League-N MPA Sania Ashiq from Punjab Pakistan became the victim of a fake leaked video scam. The forensic report of an video, doing rounds on social media, Sania Ashiq has shown that actual the video was not that of Sania Ashiq but in Lahore Jinnah Hospital nurse which had been made by a doctor of the same hospital who had later been arrested by the police.
